Step 1: Download and Install

Download the HoloMotion App from the Apple App Store (iOS 15.0+). Search for "HoloMotion" or "HoloMotion Run" and tap Install. The app requires approximately 200MB of storage space. After installation, open the app and grant the required permissions: camera access and Bluetooth (for connecting to HoloMotion Edge device).

Step 2: Account Registration

Create your HoloMotion account using your email address. For clinical users, select "Healthcare Professional" during registration to unlock advanced reporting features. Enter your clinic/organization name and professional credentials. Verify your email to activate your account.

Step 3: Device Connection

If using the HoloMotion Edge device:

1. Power on the Edge device and wait for the LED indicator to show solid blue (ready state).

2. In the app, tap "Connect Device" and select your Edge device from the Bluetooth list.

3. The app will automatically calibrate the camera once connected.

If using iPhone camera only (HoloMotion Run mode):

1. Place your iPhone on a stable surface (tripod recommended) at waist height.

2. Ensure the entire body is visible in the camera frame.

3. Position yourself 2-3 meters from the camera.

Step 4: Conducting Your First Assessment

Select the assessment type from the home screen:

• Gait Analysis: Walk naturally for 60 seconds

• Posture Screening: Stand still for 10 seconds in 4 positions

• Functional Movement: Follow the on-screen movement prompts

• Running Analysis: Run at your normal pace for 60 seconds

Tap "Start" when ready. The AI will automatically detect your body and begin tracking. A progress indicator shows capture completion. Ensure consistent lighting and avoid loose/reflective clothing for best results.

Step 5: Viewing Your Report

After capture completes, the AI processes the data in approximately 30 seconds. Your report includes:

• Joint angle measurements and symmetry analysis

• Movement quality scores (color-coded: green/yellow/red)

• Comparison to normative data (age and gender-matched)

• Trend analysis (if previous assessments exist)

• Printable PDF report for clinical documentation

Reports can be exported as PDF, shared via email, or synced to the cloud for cross-device access.

Tips for Best Results

• Wear fitted, dark-colored clothing (avoid stripes and logos)

• Ensure even lighting without strong shadows

• Remove shoes for posture assessment; use normal footwear for gait/running analysis

• Complete a brief warm-up before running analysis

• For clinical use, maintain the same setup conditions across sessions for reliable comparisons
